Once weighing 475 pounds, I went on to drop 300 pounds of fat and gain over 50 pounds of muscle. I’m a Real Guy and I got Real Results.

I am an internet marketer. I have 3 main blogs, two on weight loss, fitness and health, the other about How To Build A Blog from the ground up. Someone once asked what I do for a living and I replied “I get paid to travel, have fun and then blog about it”

I originally put up the website because nobody believed I once weighed 500 pounds. It was a place to keep a few before and after pictures instead of having to carry them with me all the time. Now it’s morphed into the natural weight loss and health resource that it’s become. I’ve been told that the biggest thing people get of of my websites is inspiration and the motivation to actually get started in weight training. They tell me that I’ve inspired thousands of people to get lifting and get in shape

The website for 10 years, the blog since 2004 and my new blog www.formerfatguyblog.com just in the last month. It’s my newest project that includes a weight loss community. I realize that one of the biggest stumbling blocks about getting to your ideal weight and physique is support. I wanted to create a place that encouraged commenting, asked questions as well as answered them and to have a community forum where like minded people could find and offer support. Thus, Former Fat Guy Blog was created.

4000 currently. My goal is 5000 per day. Those are unique visitors, not page views.

Fitness enthusiasts as I write about training a lot. People looking for inspiration and support around their weight loss. People looking for a different approach to weight loss. I’ve done so many things when I got started, and still research what works and what doesn’t, that anyone looking for a different approach to permanent weight loss should have a look. My goal is to get to 6% bodyfat and stay below 10% for life. This takes a lot of work and commitment, so if you want to know what it takes and how to do it, then this blog is for you.

4 hours or more. I do run 3 blogs mind you. Maybe more than that actually. I read other blogs as well, I answer questions in my forum and get ideas for blog posts via what they’re talking about in the forum.

Because it’s the best reading your could ever get first thing in the morning to inspire you throughout the day. I offer subscribing via email (sent to you first thing each morning), or via RSS which you can subscribe to in your favorite feed reader.

Write something every single day. Ask questions of your readers as well as answer them. Create community. Talk with the reader in mind, not you. Focus on them, not on yourself. What can YOU provide for the reader.

I would not usually post to a blog however I am interested in your post so I felt compelled to do so. Going in a slightly different direction from the topic slightly, what is your opinion concerning walking? It is generally being advertised as the best exercise to burn fat.

Wow! Thank you! I always wanted to write in my site something like that. Can I take part of your post to my blog?

This was such an informative, relevant answer. It was exactly what I was looking for. I’m so happy to know I’ll be getting something out of you posts.
