Journey- Stefanie

blogabout
I wrote my blog during my pregnancy when I was 18 years old trying to figure out if I wanted to parent or place my child through adoption. I came to the most difficult decision I could make for my daughter and placed her with into a loving family. I still write my blog on my journey of being a birthmom instead of “the mom.” And where adoption has taken me and my daughter today.

blogliving
For a living I work as a dental assistant and work at a local fast food place on the weekends. I blog for a hobby.

whystartblog
I really started the blog for myself, just to let my thoughts go and let all of my feelings out like in a journal. Now, I’m writing it for girls who are looking into the adoption decision and how it’s really not that horrible.

howlongblog
A year ago this month. :)

howmany
I have no idea :) But probably around 50-100.

income
I don’t receive any income on my blog. I write for fun.

interestedblog
A young, single pregnant girl. Or a couple who is looking to adopt to see the inside mind of what goes on with a girl who is pregnant and struggling making the decision to place.

howlongday
I try to write as often as I can. But I do spend my time reading other people’s blogs and what idea’s I might get reading them.

whysubscribeblog
You should subscribe to my blog because even though you may not know a lot about adoption, it has changed in the past 20 years of what you think it might be. I thought it was this scary, you-don’t-talk-about secret. It’s not, I share my story with everyone. It’s a story of a girl who ends up finding herself through a difficult decision and shows the love for her daughter by placing her for adoption. If you don’t believe that adoption is about love, read this blog and you will see that it is.

whatadvicebloggers
My advice is to just be real and be who you are. Whatever story you have- your story is yours and what you want to share. You never know who will be reading it but it could touch another person’s life for the better and share it with another.
