I’m a 30-something mother of girls born 23 months apart. Originally hailing from the frosty throes of Northern Michigan, I now live in the humidity pit of the universe – Virginia. I recently closed my full-time consulting biz and work frantically on the e-commerce businesses every free chance I get. My blog deals with everything from surviving the SAHM life, owning a business, dealing with bipolar disorder, separation and divorce, mutts, aging parents and anything else that crosses my path. I attempt to stay sane, calm and interesting. I also try to keep my sense of humor on a daily basis. I used to be hip. Now I don’t bother. I live in the suburbs of Richmond and so far have successfully avoided driving a mini-van. I do, however, claim responsibility for the seasonal flag in the front of the house.

I do not blog for a living though I am part of the BlogHer network and make enough money to pay for hosting and a blog redesign every other year

I started the blog as a way to share information about my newborn daughter. My family is scattered across the globe, and I was so very tired of being asked to send pictures. Hello Flickr! Hello blog!

I’ve been blogging since 2003. It is a labor of love. I love to labor on it

Anywhere between 150-300.

It does make money. BlogHer works for me much better than Google AdSense, and occasionally I will do a paid review.

Other mothers, women business owners, those suffering from Bipolar Disorder Type II, and others who just like random doses of snark and self-deprecating humor.

I blog at least three times a week; each post takes me about 30-60 minutes..

Like humor? Take pleasure in watching others poke fun at everything and anything? Enjoy reading about someone else’s trainwreck of a life? I’m the blogger for you.

It depends on what your definition of “success” is. For me, I define success as writing quality posts that are as truthful as possible, and finding others who get something out of what I share.
