A Blog about work, games and other things-Mike P. O’Keeffe

Basically a blog about things I do from day to day. From holidays I’ve been on to games I’ve just bought to car insurance and everyday news and topics, I like to blog about it all.

I work as an electronic engineer. I’m only starting off in my career and I’ve still a lot to learn. I’m hoping with this blog that I can keep track of the technologies I’m using at work and tips and tricks I found useful to completing a task that I think would be helpful to other people out there.

I wanted to keep track of the things I’m learning as I work up the ladder as an electronic engineer. Hopefully this information can help others doing similar work. I also blog about everyday things as well, from car insurance to government schemes I’ve been applying for.

Just a little over a year now I think.

To be honest, I’ve no idea. I’ve always thought I get barely any at all. I’m gonna pick a number, maybe 3/4 a day? I could be way off.

I tried having Google AdSense on my blog, but with so few people visiting, it wasn’t worth it as the ads tend to take away from the look of the site itself.

I dunno, electronic engineers? I have a few random topics so I anyone could read some of the posts I put up. Most of it would relate to life here in Ireland and various opportunities here, so I guess local people.

I try to blog as much as I can, when I can. It’s hard enough to sit down and dedicate some time, especially when I’m up to my eyeballs in work.

Every now and then I mention something interesting and worthwhile, that’s why.

Do a little bit everyday. Even if you write up a little bit, then save it to drafts, then you can touch it up later. Add pictures you’ve taken to add the personal touch as well.
