My blog is an interdisciplinary blog. I write about politics and social issues and the humanities and the sciences. Interdisciplinary thinking tries to promote environmentalism, capitalism, religion, heroic individualism, and families simultaneously. Beauty, truth, and ethics are united.

I am the President of the Emerson Institute for Freedom and Culture. This is a hobby of sorts.

I think as an interdisciplinarian I present an unusual view of the world — one that may find a more receptive audience in the internet than in more traditional venues.

Off and on since 2004, though I have recently really stepped up my blogging. I now write something every day.

People interested in politics, society and social issues, culture, the humanities, science, and how all these interact with each other.

1-1.5 hours. Unless you count research for it.

Though I sometimes succumb to the temptation to give pithy remarks, more often I try to give more complex, in-depth analyses to problems in the world we see in the headlines. Where others give political analyses or mere opinions, I try to view things thorugh as many lenses as possible, to come up with more complex analyses and solutions.
