If you like the art, based on space and science fiction, Astrona gives free rein to your imagination. This site where painters, designers and specialized creators of different countries show you their future world visions, space and astronomical art, sci-fi art, etc. This blog created for the trip to the future and alien worlds. Really. Space and science fiction art combines the unexpected intersections of two seemingly different disciplines — art and science. Some of these images is freaking amazing. On the site you will find image galleries or examples of paintings, including a short article and links to the artists or other sources. Main categories are shown in navigation bar at the top of the page, and by specific artist in the categories listing on the right.

In real life I have a small business, I like to make websites, and some weird things. I also love to paint, but I am not a professional artist.

I was always a big fan of science fiction art and illustration. Well, this blog is a hobby. At the time that I started, there were no blogging about this topic. But should be. There are only several well-known space art sites (like Solar Voyager and NovaSpace) and I think they are doing a good job.

I started my blog in September of 2006.

Some time ago I have been averaging around 70-80 visits per day. By the way, in early August my blog has been disabled stupid Blogger antispam robot, but a few days later tested and approved. Once, I sent notice. But what happened then was a real surprise. Blogger Team put me on the Blogs of Note. Of course, since then the number of visitors has increased greatly.

I have a few AdSense ads but it is not business. For many blogs AdSense has become the source of income, but in my case Astrona received little traffic, this is not a popular topic, and consequently very few clicks on ads. Hardly the sort of figure for business.

Anyone who are interested in painting, visual concepts of the future world, space art and science fiction, etc.

About 2 hrs before I publish. It is not every day.
