

I discuss issues related to pastoral ministry, discussing how we can more faithfully follow the biblical model for pastors.

I teach Bible, Greek and pastoral ministry at Union University in Jackson TN. I also serve as one for the pastors at my church, Cornerstone Community Church.

I was continuing discussion via occasional emails on this topic with former students and guys involved in pastoral ministry. Then I discovered blogs and decided this would be a better way to continue the conversation and welcome in others.

The Church needs to seriously rethink what is being done in pastoral ministry and re-examine the Scriptures as well as our history.

Write on something you care about and keep a focus. Even if it is a small niche, address that topic well.
