My blog chronicles my life as it has been going so far.  It started out as a single girl dating in the big world and morphed into the weird facets of my life and marriage.

I am a teacher.  It is both my career and my hobby.  I truly love my job.

I started it as a bet that I could get a certain person to date me.  This chase kept the blog running for about a year but then it flourished when I began delving into other aspects of my life.

I have Google ads posted ony blog.  I’ve made about $35 since last April, so no, it really hasn’t been successful.  In a perfect world I would be able to pull in more than 8 cents a day but that’s not why I write about my life.  I do it for me.

People in the mid to late 20’s would probably enjoy this blog because they can see the journey that they’re about to take (I just turned 30).

In the beginning I would blog several times a day but now I’d say I probably say that I spend about an hour a day writing and then several hours reading other people’s blogs.

I think that I have an off-kilter sense of humor.  I like to make fun of myself and my husband and I leave nothing sacred…I write about our sex lives, our nights out and our existential crises.

Just keep writing and don’t write hoping for comments. If you’re looking for validation, you’re going to end up disappointed or insulted when the comments actually come.
