Views from the Back Row- Osbasso

Random observations from a trombonist in a small northwestern town. Also the home base of Half-Nekkid Thursday (HNT)!

Ultimately, I’m a musician, which rarely pays the bills. I also do a little computer/internet research for a local sandwich restaurant that’s about to franchise across the country.

I started blogging as a way to keep in touch with a close friend who had moved away. HNT has evolved into something I never imagined, to the point that many think that’s all my site is about…

I’ve had this blog since mid-January, 2005. There’s been a couple of others made, but this one’s my main one.

According to Statcounter, I average 556 per day in 2007, though I usually have well over 1,000 on Thursdays because of HNT.

No income, though I’ve been urged by many to give it a shot. I’m just not interested in doing that.

Anyone who enjoys quirky looks at life. And if half-nekkidity piques one’s interest, then this is the place to try!

Far too much. I’d say a minimum of 4 hours. Sometimes as many as 12.

You can check on my daily observations and complaints as only I can tell them. And you can check out the HNTers!

Be true to yourself. Ultimately, your blog is YOUR place to write. If you’re worried about writing for an audience, be prepared for the audience to voice their opinions. Many times they aren’t very supportive. Downright mean, even. And NEVER put any stock into someone who leaves an anonymous comment. In my book, they lose the right to comment if they stay anonymous (or use a fake account).
