I write about my bizarrely normal life, my widely contradictory opinions, and participate in the most obnoxious of memes.
I am a school teacher. I shape minds. I do paperwork. I assess. I entertain. I parent. I make a fool of myself every day.
Welllll … I’m rather self-centered, so writing about myself is very natural. I like to write, and the topic with which I am best acquainted is moi. I think regular life is strange … and I think regular life is interesting, so I figure — hey! I have a strange, interesting, regular life — why not share?
I have been blogging away since March of 2007.
I think between 45 and 100 per day would be a fair statement. (The number of hits/visits is completely dependent upon how I tag my posts.) I’m not completely certain though because the two site meters I have installed always differ.
I use AdSense and it has not been very successful. So far I think I’ve made like 40 cents total.
I think everyone could get something out of my blog. I really like robots, crossdressers, donkeys, aliens (legal or otherwise), other teachers, dirty old men, and cartoon characters though. However, I’m always up for making new acquaintances and rarely do I discriminate.
In the summer I blog for at least 45 minutes to an hour per day, but as the school year progresses, I see that tapering off a bit. I do hope to post at least once per day though.
I think you should subscribe because frankly, my life is tres bizarre and I believe it will make you feel all the better about your life.
Read other people’s blogs and comment frequently. Participate in memes. Be funny and honest. Write every single day — even if you don’t feel like it
