Science, Wackmobiles and Spurious Brainchildren- S E E Quine

One displays my artwork over the years; one demonstrates that I have a brain complete with critical thinking skills and real scientific understanding; one largely involves my life, with lots of very beautiful/goofy photos; and one documents my alter ego’s mad scientist creations (like the iBooger) and wacky hijinks (such as stealing lakes).

` I’m a student, and I guess one could say that I write and learn for a living.
` …And when my brain is fried from that, it starts doing a considerable amount of things (scientifically termed ‘weird stuff’), some of which winds up online.

` Any topic I blog about is a result of to some interest in it.
` Hoaxes, completely (or partially) wacked people, scientific thinking (often against pseudoscience and the like) and the psychology behind these things are what interest me the most.
` That, and sometimes having fun with people lacking in scientific thought.
` For example, my mad scientist alter ego once created a satirical post about ‘Wonkyfoot’, mirroring the beliefs of a man who thinks a picture of a blurry tree stump was a Bigfoot that he just didn’t notice. (It doesn’t even look like a bigfoot, anyway!)
` The REAL hilarity of it was that the guy BELIEVED my Wonkyfoot photos were genuine evidence of bigfoot! He didn’t notice I was making fun of him at all!

` I’ve been on Blogger for about two years now, though I also transferred earlier material from another blog I once had.

` I have no idea – my hit counters disappeared and I haven’t bothered to put any more up.
` If I had to guess, probably at least a hundred people per day visit all four of my blogs combined. (One of them is sponsored by a website that gets nearly a thousand hits per day.)

` Nope, sorry. I almost succeeded in using AdSense with a different blog but as that blogsite was not user-friendly, I couldn’t figure out how to embed the html code!

` In short, all people with brains.
` In long, probably the same type of person as me – a creative, artistic individual who is really into critical thinking, nature, science, and who loves to make up fantastic stories off of real (sometimes suspicious-looking) photos involving such things as my friend, X-Dandruff who has a force field that zaps attacking bicycle wheels.

` Probably two hours (0-6) per day). Disturbing, I know.

` I have a lot of readers, and not just because they know me.
` That’s right, they actually think that I’m entertaining and informative enough to come back, sometimes many times!
` It’s my professional-level writing abilities, I just know it!!

` Have your writing critiqued by professional writers and editors!
` Discovering your flaws and understanding why they are such is the best way to overcome them.
` After all, it doesn’t necessarily matter what you write about, it’s how you write about it that makes it interesting!
` Also; be sure that something eye-catching is on the top of your blog – getting a reader’s attention is half the battle!
