I’m Sriram Sridharan. I’m 20 and i’m from Chennai, India. My blog “Orangeman Burns - Sriram Sridharan’s Blog” is about me, myself and things that happen around me. I’m in my final year of my Bachelor of Engineering, specializing in Electronics and Communication. Blogging is one of my hobbies. I write on my blog- “Orangeman Burns - Sriram Sridharan’s Blog” and am a guest writer at Ritu Pant’s Work N Play blog at www.worknplay.net . I’m also currently an Intern at Gizmodo[I’m currently on leave because of my exams]

Sometimes i wanted to express my feelings on a particular issue or a topic and then i found blogging. My Blog is a way for me to flex my creative or communicative muscles every now and then. I also use it as a bulletin board, to keep in touch with my friends and family.

I started blogging in June 2007, so I’ve been blogging for three months now. I used to maintain a site but it was too time consuming to manage it.

I get around 10-15 visitors per day and around 20 or so visitors when my blog post is on Digg.. I hope to increase my readership base to at least 40-0 regular readers by the year end.

I do sponsored posts and I’ve earned about $20 until now. In Indian Rupees, it’s a generous amount for a student, but I’m saving up for a new computer. Some of my visitors have told me about the sponsored posts to regular posts ratio and i need to concentrate on that and not letting the sponsored posts fill my blog..

A person looking for light humor, occasional gems like technical stuff for dummies and recipes. This blog is meant for all ages groups and I don’t see why I should restrict my readership base to any category or age group.

I spend about 2-3 hours a day on weekdays, about 4 hours a day on weekends. When I’ve exams, I can only blog for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Anyone looking for a blog without a category or a routine and wish to be surprised every day should subscribe to my blog.

Being an upcoming blogger myself, I can only give some advice to my fellow bloggers. Frequent posting and unleashing your inner feeling should be a bloggers steadfast principle.
