My blog is a record of my life experiences, and how I evaluate them. I try and evaluate each new experience and to possibly obtain a life lesson from them. Many of the topics I talk about are fairly common, and most often relatable to everyone, but I try and present a new perspective on the issues. I often look at the issue from many different angles, using the Socrates method of asking questions to answer my questions. At the end of my posts I usually try to give my final view on each issue, but sometimes, that finality does not come, but I believe that only shows that not everything can be answered, at least not by me at this point in my life.

I recently graduated from high school and will be traveling to Taiwan soon to conduct research at the World Vegetable Center for two months. When I return I will attend the University of Minnesota. This blog was originally started as a school assignment, but when that class ended, I kept it going. It is now just a hobby of mine, and I’m so pleased that the number of followers has grown. Who doesn’t like to know that their writing is being read, that their voice is being heard?

When this blog was assigned by my teacher, he told us to try and pick a topic we could consistently blog about. I tried to do an interest blog about different forms of media, so I would talk about the films I had viewed, or the books that I had read. But I hated being a critic, so I quickly dropped that topic and decided that I would just blog about the stuff that happened to me day to day. People seemed to enjoy it, and I liked it a lot more, so I stuck with it.

I started this blog my junior year of high school, so it has been almost two years. I still can’t believe I’ve kept it going this long, but I have no plans of stopping.

I would say about twenty people per day. I’m sure that number varies though.

My blog does not have an income. Since I started my blog for school reasons, I didn’t think about making money off of it. And by the time I didn’t need it for school anymore, I decided that I didn’t want to see out by using it to make money. I didn’t want to compromise the integrity of my writing. My blog is purely for enjoyment, both for the readers, but for me, too.

I could see any person being interested in it, really. I guess those people who analyze their life, almost to the point of exhaustion would enjoy it most though, since that’s basically what I do on my blog. But most of what I talk about everyone has experienced at some time in their life, so I feel like the content is relatable to everyone, and people generally enjoy those topics that are most relatable to them For the most part though, those introspective people out there would get the most out of it.

It varies. Recently, I have been pretty busy, what with graduating and everything. But there was a time when I would blog multiple times per day, just because it was such a great release. I think now with summer I’ll start blogging more, but it really just depends on if I have anything to talk about. I’m not a person who blogs just to fill space, I want the things I say to carry some importance. When I do blog though, I would say I spend about an hour with each post.

Because you like it. I only want people to subscribe if they’re interested in what I say, I want my subscribers to making wise choices now. If you read a post or two and decide that you like the things I say, follow me. Like I said, people love to know they’re being heard. But if it’s not for you, I get that, too. You should check it out though!

Hmm I don’t know I guess. I feel like I should have succeeded for me to be giving advice about how to do so. I guess what advice I blog by is don’t write about stuff you don’t care about. Write about the things you are interested in, because the world needs interesting writing, not words and sentences to fill the space. Chances are, there are many people who share your opinions, and many who don’t too, but those are always the most fun anyway. And be honest. Honesty makes for good writing. What i find, is when you write for yourself, you get the most out of what you create, and others generally do, too.
