Cause I Believe in You

blogabout
Within the vision of every life, beyond the blurry, misdirected haze of man-conceived expectations lies the clear wisdom of truth, the reality of human existence, the spiritual. In simple things are found deep meanings, and the satisfactions of life. The pages of my blog are filled with observations, discoveries, struggles, and sometimes even hilarity from a person long-seeking a glimpse of that world beyond the shallow marching we call daily grind.

blogliving
Except for a year-long stint on e-bay in which enough money was generated to buy a car, my current daily outgo produces no income, beyond the budding humanity produced from the loving, sometimes reckless hands and heart of a stay-at-home mom who has tutored her children and kept a husband’s heart coming home at the end of each day. Caring for my family is my life, my heart, my reason for getting up in the morning and the cause of flopping exhausted into bed at night.

whystartblog
My mother has long told me that I think too much. Not finding a sympathetic ear within my childhood home led me to discover writing as a sounding board for my philosophical wanderings. In a high-tech world the need for written organization of the scattered, brainstormed notes conceived in a mind constantly swirling with questions, curiosity, and wonder naturally led me to blogging. The public nature of a weblog helps focus my thoughts, weed out the junk, clarify my beliefs. In the putting down of stories past and present along with ponderings about the stuff of life I am coming to find my self, and align myself with the one in whom I believe, God.

howlongblog
The short answer, well, the only answer, is about two years.

howmany
Visitors a day number on average about twenty I’d say, fluctuating with the seasons, the weekends, the holidays. Sweet, kind, sometimes sassy visitors who encourage me, make me laugh, impress me, and cause me think all the more.

income
An income from my blog? The answer you probably want is simply, no. No I do not make any money from my humble blog. However, me being me, I have to say there has been an incoming of friends from the farthest reaches of the globe and nearby, too, a payoff worth far more to me than, shall I say, cold, hard cash. In that regard, it has been enormously succesful.

interestedblog
Anyone compelled to lift his or her head up out of the slumped, rutted trance that we humans tend to find ourselves in, take a moment to be still and contemplate the fundementals of life may find my blog welcoming, thought-provoking, perhaps even encouraging. The inspiration is not necessarily in my writing, but in the comments and dialogue from my intelligent readers who add immeasurably to the process and joy of discovery.

howlongday
Once or twice a week I find myself overwhelmed with head-words which must be born into written form in order for me to carry-on in life with some degree of efficiency. Normally these little births take from 15 minutes to two hours, depending on how much time I’ve spent muddling the thoughts over in the middle of the night, or when I’m doing mundane-type things during the day. Visiting the magnificent blogs of others, though, that I do daily, for at least half an hour.

whysubscribeblog
Why should you subscribe to my blog? Hmm. Everyone needs a friendly repose, a distraction from the beating the world can give. The entertaining of thoughts simply complicated and free of trans-fats can breathe vigor into a weary mind. My friends and I find such diversion here on my blog. Perhaps you will, too.

whatadvicebloggers
Since I don’t see that my blogging has been ’successful’ for I don’t know what that would look like in a selfishly kept blog such as mine, I find this question quite a stumper. I suppose the fact that I have a few loyal readers means that there is something within it meriting return visits. Keep it honest, I’d say, and try to be kind.
