I blog about politics, current events, injustices, and humorous topics, especially crack-heads, whom I find to be stupidly funny. This blog has it all, from local, state and national politics to stories about people that qualify for the Darwin Awards. I don’t just rant, I praise and laugh too. I believe my blog is a cross between a soap-box and Weird News.
I am an Engineer and I blog for fun and to be able to express my views to an audience. Blogging has let me vent on numerous subjects and to enlighten the public and not just political and important issues, but the mundane stuff that happens all around us.
I started blogging to express myself and my views on the politics that I saw affecting our nation. I wanted to inform the public on my view of the facts on events and politics that you wouldn’t hear in the newspapers or on the big news networks.
Over 3 years now. I have had my ups and downs, felt like quiting, but never did.
I am a small time blogger, and I have ranged from 50 to over a thousand visitors a day. I have had my share of links from some of the big guys and that has helped me bring in some permanent readers.
I have no ads on my blog, not that they aren’t offered. I don’t even have a PayPal link, I don’t ask for money for this, I do it because I love it. My reason is because I just don’t want to rely on my blog as income, plus it is not me, I am an independent.
A person that is looking for a different viewpoint on the important issues that affect our nation and the world today. The type that is not beholden to the normal way of thinking.
I spend about 1 to 2 hours every morning (real early in the morning) and 1-2 hours during the day.
If you like weird news, non-standard views, and a place to vent, then come on down y’all are welcome. Many people have stumbled upon my blog, read my posts, left a good comment and ended up becoming part of my blog family. I even allow dissenting viewers to comment, in fact I encourage them, I am respectful as long as the commenter is respectful. But, I will not tolerate racism, racist remarks or any bigotry.
Do what you do best, blog about what you feel is important to you, not always what you feel others want to read. And don’t get discourage with low traffic, if you make an impact on one person, then you should feel that you have accomplished something.
