blogabout
This blog is an ongoing tale of the life and times of a western woman now living in Morocco. Daily adventures and views of the world I see outside in the Kasbah Oudayas where I live and the city at large in Rabat.

I am a writer. I do freelance articles for a variety of publications, and I am writing a novel and numerous short stories.

whystartblog
I began the blog as a personal journal but it quickly became a public forum and I changed the tone of the post accordingly.

I only began to blog in May 2007. I am shocked at the number of readers I have attracted.

income
There is no income directly generated by my blog, but I have had several writing jobs come to me from people who have read it.
I am planning to use the entries from the blog on a non-fiction book about Morocco.

interestedblog
Judging by my comments section, I would say all kinds of readers. I have university students, retired professionals, stay at home dads and mums, teachers, journalist, and fellow travelers that come by regularly.

howlongday
I spend anywhere from one hour to three. I find the world of blogging fascinating. I had no idea this was all ‘out here’.

whysubscribeblog
It is never the same. Life here is a constant adventure, and my travels always produce some romance or adventure unexpected. I also have my days when I comment on pressing international issues, both political and humanistic.
