A place for me to express thoughts about art, life or whatever interests me at the moment.

I am an artist and I paint pretty full time. I consider my blog to be more than a hobby it’s a vital part of life. As an artist so much time is spent in the studio and this is a connection with anyone who is interested in knowing what is going on with me. In a strange way it makes me feel like I am in the world while in the studio.

I have always kept journals and this seemed like an easy segue. I hoped that it would help me reach a larger audience for my work and open a dialog about art and life.

I started it in 2007. It took a while for me to post regularly but now it seems like a natural thing.

Someone who is interested in someone else’s rants. Someone who is liberal minded and gets annoyed by the things that pass for news today. Someone who might be interested in the personal thoughts of a total stranger. Someone who would like to have a dialog with an artist.

It varies, I may average and hour.

I try to post images of my paintings, if you like to see current work by an unknown artist than this blog could interest you. I am not limited to discussing my art I have many interests and anything can come up.

I can only write about what interests me so I would say stick with what interests you. After all if we are not interested in the topic we are writing about how can we expect anyone else to care.
