The Professional Hobo details the adventures of Nora and her boyfriend Kelly, who sold everything in their home country of Canada in 2007, and took on their dreams of traveling the world. Since then they have lived in Canada’s rocky mountains, all over the Big Island of Hawaii, started international NGOs on the fly in northern Thailand, and toured Australia extensively – among other adventures and destinations both past and present.

The Professional Hobo is a living – albeit a meager one! Nora is a freelance writer, writing on the topics of travel and personal finance.

As with so many travel blogs, The Professional Hobo started innocently, as “Life Happens, Freedom 30″ – a blogspot page to keep in touch with family and friends from the road.

Nora’s adventures date back to late 2006.

I currently use Google Adsense, and am working with a few new monetization schemes as well. I don’t exactly make a fortune with it, but that is not the intention of the blog. It is more of a forum to share my story, and a way to showcase writing that is published online and in print too.

I most certenly liked this innovative angle that you have on the subject. I wasnt thinking on this at the time I begun browsing for tips. Your ideas was totally easy to get. Im glad to find out that there’s an individual online that obviously understands exactly what its is talking about.

I’m still learning from you, but I’m improving myself. I definitely liked reading everything that is posted on your blog.Keep the posts coming. I enjoyed it!
You made some good points there. I did a search on the subject and found most people will consent with your blog.
The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
I simply want to tell you that I’m newbie to blogs and actually liked you’re page. Very likely I’m want to bookmark your blog post . You absolutely come with tremendous stories. Regards for revealing your blog site.
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
