Amazing hidden images and optical illusions discovered within LEONARDO DA VINCI’s works of art.
Discovered by Texas artist who’s dedicated a blog in order to share the simple secrets to seeing these incredible images.

Artist. But my blog, which grew out of an obsession more than anything else, has turned into a full time endevor lately.

It all starting with a small copy of DA VINCI’s painting of the MONA LISA, which has hung in my bedroom for the past 12 years. I became convinced that the painting was indeed a hand painted Hologram.
That lead to an exhaustive examination of all of DA VINCI’s works of art finding an array of optical illusions and countless hidden images throughout his entire body of work.

My first blog was posted November 2006. However, I spent almost a year all over the inter net trying to explain to anyone who would listen of what I had found. Obviously this is something that has to be seen to be believed. I first tried a standard web site, but soon realized it was just to complicated considering the massive number of images and visual examples I had developed in order to help viewers see these images faster and easier.
However, after learning the concept of blogging I knew individual postings, featuring one or just a few of DA VINCI’s works at a time, was the idea medium for all I had to share.

That’s the sad part. After working so long and so hard finding all I’ve found, then setting up and maintaining my blog with a consistent stream of new and amazing illusions, I just had no idea how hard it would be to attract visitors. I only recently discovered how to check my traffic stats. and knew I had to find a way to let the world know what I had discovered. Of course with all the buzz over THE DA VINCI CODE it’s been hard to get noticed.

Income?

Anyone who loves art, optical illusions or is caught up in the DA VINCI craze.
And frankly I believe the art community, musuems especially, should prepare for an influx of traffic, of people who want to experience these incredible illusions in person.

Actual time devoted to my blog includes working on new ways to present a new sketch or painting of DA VINCI’s and most recently attempting any means of blogger’s networking to increase traffic, let alone writing and constucting my blogs, it’s become something of a time job. Eight hours a day, easily.
(What was that you said about income?)
I may not be the most typical blogger, but not everyone is as obsessed or perhaps as determined to share such an amazing discovery with the rest of the world as I am.

When was the last time you saw a 500 year old Hologram?
Actually, over 500 years old. And the methods of illusions and the types and style of hidden images are just so vast, there’s really no way to prepare you for all you’re going to see.
And getting viewer to actually see some of these illusions can be a little tricky. We all see things differently, of course. It’s a very personal viewing experience. Some illusions are extremely easy to see… Once you know how and where to look, that is. But once you really grasp the concept of an illusion it’s not unusual for viewers to point out images I’ve never noticed.
Even with all the examples I’ve highlighted so far, there’s still just so much more left to be discovered. I’ve learned when it comes to LEONARDO DA VINCI, never think you’ve seen it all or that there’s nothing new left to discover. And when you’re quiet sure there’s nothing there… Look again!

Well, I guess that would depend on my succeeding in getting interviews like this one to determine how successful my blog could be. Probably not the answer you’re wanting to hear. But an honest one.
Hopefully, it will prove to be an example as to why you should never give up on what you believe in.
