hadar

blogabout
Our Blog Hadar is all about the building of Hadar, our travels and adventures. We talk about cruising the waterways of the UK, transporting and selling coal on the Leicester Section of the Grand Union Canal from October to March, then cruising the rest of the system for the Summer.

blogliving
Hadar is a Working Narrowboat, from her we sell coal, kindling, firelights and toilet blue during the winter months and bits and bobs during the summer months.

whystartblog
We started blogging when Hadar was being built at Roger Fuller’s Boat Yard in Stone, Staffordshire. You can see her developement from the base plate to the present day.

howlongblog
We have been working on this blog since September 2005, which was when Hadar became a reality and not just a dream.

howmany
It varies from day to day.

income
Our blog does not have an income. We have written it purely to give an account of the build and our life afloat.

interestedblog
It is of interest to anyone, as we have readers from all over the world. We have readers who are looking to have a boat built and want information. We have readers who just love boats and we have readers, who just like the escapism of our life.

howlongday
Depends on the time I have, but I can spend an hour and a half some days working on our blog.

whysubscribeblog
You should subscribe to our blog if you enjoy the waterways, boating, the great outdoors or escapism.
You should subscribe to our blog if you enjoy reading about living the dream.

whatadvicebloggers
Make your blog as intersting as possible. Come up with a tantalizing title. Then the content is very important, as you want people to keep coming back and you want them to pass it on to friends. Including photographs is also key. People love to look at photographs.
