It’s a little slice of what develops here along the Albemarle Sound – The good & bad days of creating Art – painting Mermaids, trying not to throttle The Husband on a daily basis, and wondering I need to grow up soon…plus living with a very opinionated Dog.

I’m a Mixed -Media Artist – I’d like to make a true living with my Art, but for now I’m just hoping for some sales at the local Gallery where my Art is located. I’m a blogger by default..but more of that in a minute…

I’d been a member of Mojoartgroup a couple of years ago, and one of the members very graciously set up my Blog for me, showing me how to create the Blog, and helping me along the way. Writing the Blog is a daily endeavor, and is shows where my life is, and my view of the world around me.

It was – I think – (my memory is fuzzy sometimes…) 2006 – Somedays I get a post on the Blog, but other days I completely get swamped by a project on the work table…or get too involved in a good Baseball game on the Satellite dish…

3 – 5 – I don’t have one of those counter – doo-hickies, but I’m hoping I get at least a few. Maybe one of those counting thingies may not be such a bad idea…

I wish the Blog created an income, but I’m only mildly computer “savvy”, so I haven’t got a clue how to make any $$ from what I post on the Blog. I lack the knowledge to create an income, but maybe someday I’ll get that learning, and create some $$ -

I think the kind of person who reads my Blog, is the type who likes to just sit down with a cup of coffee at the old kitchen table,shoo the cats off the chairs (or in my case, tell the dog to get out of the way…) move the stack of junk mail and unpaid bills out of the way, and just have a friendly chat.

Depending on how long it takes me to fiddle around with my camera to download Art photos or pictures of the odds and ends in the “yard”, I spend anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes blathering on my Blog.

I think you should subscribe to my Blog, because I can just about say with 100% accuracy, that your not going to find something quite like my Blog elsewhere. Not bragging, but I do have a somewhat different view of life…I don’t rant about Government (if I have lately, I don’t remember) tho I do occasionally bellyache about Corporate America (so who’s girlfriend gets all these $$ – Or does the wife??) – Anyway, I’m different.

Be yourself! ~ Don’t try to be all pink and blue with fuzzy warm thots, if what’s truly You is Industrial with Black, Grey and Dark – Be totally what you are, and the writing will follow that. If your style is abrasive, then be that – not cutesy and adorable, if that’s not where your comfortable. If you are black, grey and bloody red, then be that. Not pale blue with gentle pink.
