Geeks of Doom- Dave3

![]()
Geeks of Doom is staffed by a cabal of over two-dozen contributors–self-certified geeks, to the bone. We’ve got the inside skinny on the latest geek-oriented entertainment news, up-to-date movie, comic and music reviews, interviews with industry geeks, contests and giveaways, and articles about everything else that shines under our geeky sun.

Our contributors hail from all walks of life. Teachers, artists, doctors, mystery-men, web professionals… sure we’ve all got day jobs, but Geeks of Doom is our passion.

No-brainer — we write about what we love! We are the comic readers, we are the movie goers, we ARE the target market. We’re able to write from the perspective of the average unbiased fan, because we are those fans.

We started Geeks of Doom in earnest at the beginning of April 2007. The site grew out of an idea that started a few years back–to create a place where the independent geek could voice his/her opinion, and to create a community around that. After a few failed attempts at getting a proper site together, everything suddenly just fell into place.

On a given day we could have anywhere from 2,000 to 40,000 visitors. Currently (June 07) our overall average works out to 14,500 geeks each and every day.

Lovers of comics, movies, music, tv, sci-fi, fantasy, gadgets, toys, computers, books, free stuff (did I leave anything out?… I guess, pr0n. got none of that). We really do have something for every one. And while all of our contributors are geek through-and-through, we don’t discriminate. Our reviews and opinions resonate with everyone, not just geeks.

I’m guessing that on average it’s upwards of 4 hours a day.

Well, for starters we’re fun! We’ve got latest geek-related entertainment news, all sorts of insightful reviews, balls-out interviews, contests and giveaways (btw, did I mention that subscribers are automatically entered into all of our giveaways), and a heck of a lot more. Seriously, we’re all over the map like geek-colored projectile vomit.

Talk about what you love and others who love it too will gather around your fire and join the conversation.
