It’s basically our place to share Sphere news and product feature updates with people interested in Sphere. We’re not too serious about the blog, we post infrequently and I always feel guilty when several days go between posts. Having said that, I love the interactivity of our blog, it’s a great way to foster dialog.

I’m CEO of Sphere - we connect content across the web. We’ve got a lot of partner sites which is really fun b/c all those sites are connecting to blogs now. I’m also a Venture Partner at True Ventures. I like to invest in truly raw start-ups - I was the lead investor in Oddpost and sit on the Boards of Automattic (WordPress) and Voxpop.tv

We wanted a simple way to share news and product updates and we thought it would be a great way to foster dialog with people interested in Sphere.

A few years.

A few hundred, sometimes a few thousand when we get lucky.

No.

We have lots of partner sites like Blog Interviewer who visit the site to learn about new products. Also, it’s a good way to discover some new content as we frequently list new partner sites on the blog.

Not enough!

What, am I now campaigning for readers? If your a media person, it’s informative to know what others are doing.

Keep it real. Don’t get too serious about it unless your morphing your site into a publisher business. It’s fun and important to encourage dialog.
