But the biggest benefit is to the public in general, as The Mighty Blog can be considered as a type of "tracking collar" for Mighty Dyckerson. As long as we see the occasional new post and comment from him, we know that he is spending a significant portion of his time in front of the computer, and NOT in front of a childrens' playground. Not to go off on a tangent, but this is precisely the reason why legislation must be passed to prevent deployment of Internet Wireless Access Centers (or "I-WACs") close to locations where children may be left unattended. It's part of a "Keep the Clown Tethered Down and off the Playground" initiative, that is quickly gathering momentum here in North America (and hopefully soon in Thailand and other preferred Dyckerson haunts).
