My weblog is about popular culture, advertising, art, old photos, old ads, literature, my cartoons; I’m also publishing podcast-interviews with interesting people like Colin Newman from the British cult band Wire for example.

I work as a freelance art director for London ad agencies and private clients. The blog is just a silly hobby of mine.

I don’t know. I just got the idea one day.

Almost 5 years now. I started ‘The Cartoonist’ in September 2002.

That varies. On average around 800/day.

No. I just got rid of the Google ads, because I don’t like their design. They’re ugly. Why should my blog generate money? This doesn’t make sense.

Again, I don’t know. All sorts of people presumably. Basically whoever likes my blog.

When I’m not busy working for a London ad agency, about 2-3 hours/day.

I think nobody should subscribe to my blog. It’s incredibly boring.

Don’t. It’s lots of work. Honestly. And don’t publish your private diaries and intimate feelings. Please – the world really doesn’t need this.
