How do you describe a “HMmmm” moment? Is it something strange, odd, bizarre, funny, thought-provoking, or just plain silly? What HMmmm’s in Larry’s life might just hit the same HMmmm within you.

Having taking early retirement, I blog as a hobby. It’s great being retired because now I can be eccentric and my friends and family just shrug it off rather than trying to talk “sense” into me.

I’ve always been curious about the oddities that float around in my universe. I thought sharing these in a blog would let others in on the universe’s jokes.

Space on a server was thrust my way in late 2003 but it took me until June 2004 to get this blog up and running.

According to my server stats, I average about 8,000 unique visitors/month (266/day) and about 138,000 page hits/month (4,600/day). However, my all time high was 22,800 unique visitors in one month (760/day) and 517,570 page hits/month (17,250/day).

I get no income at all from my blog although if one was to believe the claims of some bloggers, everyone should be making a small fortune blogging.

People who might be interested in my weblog would have a quirky sense of humour and appreciate the unusual world around us.

I limit myself to a maximum of two hours per day or less blogging.

Subscribers to my blog would get everything from an occasional chuckle to entries that make one sit back and think.

My advice to other bloggers is the same old advice any writer should heed: “write about what you know.”
