My blog is about things that matter to me as a late deafened woman, it’s about what it’s like to have a hearing loss. It’s also about trivial things that just pop into my head. The sort of things you would tell someone about in a phone call, or over coffee, or in the cafeteria. These activities aren’t available to me so this is my outlet.

I work in a hospital. Blogging is a new hobby, its becoming an obsession.

I wanted to speak to people, to have conversations, to tell people about things that were happening in my life. I can’t pick up the phone to chat, I rarely see friends and when I do it’s rude to talk about yourself all the time, so blogging seemed a great medium.

Not long at all, three weeks only.

I’m not sure maybe 5-10, I think it’s mostly my mum. I added a tracker to the blog and I am so amazed and pleased to see that people visit from all over the globe. It’s truly wonderful to think that someone in Jakarta or Istanbul is reading my words.

No income. It’s not something I have thought about.

That’s hard for me to say. It seems to be others with hearing loss, and people who want to know more, to understand more about hearing loss

Maybe an hour on average.

I don’t know why. I would hope to be entertaining and informative, with some pretty pictures thrown in for good measure.

I’m such a novice I can’t presume to offer advice.
