Updated daily with health care news, the latest research finds, and personal experiences from a woman living with depression, and generalized anxiety disorder.

blogliving
I am a full-time student in international public health education as well as a writer for another blog (within the same company). Blogging has become more than just a hobby for me, and while I don’t rely on it for income, it is now my job!

whystartblog
Mental & emotional health is such a broad topic and is always being talked about. I figured that the world needed my two-cents input on things that are happening out there. Oh, and I deal with a few mental & emotional health problems, too.

howlongblog
October of 2006

howmany
Between 167 average hits a day (Oct ’06) and 5200+ (September ’07). It’s growing everyday.

income
I have always had an income with this blog, although it isn’t always a whole heck of a lot. I find that when I post a lot of links (to other blogs from the same company) my hit-numbers climb and therefore so does my income. When I post without pictures or links, I notice that my numbers are always down. It has been, in my opinion, incredibly successful seeing as though I’ve gone from an average of 167 hits a month to over 2500 in less than a year!

interestedblog
Anyone interested in learning about mental or emotional health would be interested in this blog. Want to learn about depression? Anxiety? Panic attacks? Eating disorders? Phobias? Meditation? Counseling? Drug use? I write about most everything and have no shame in talking about my own personal mental & emotional health demons. Anyone wanting to learn more about ME would be interested in reading my blog.

howlongday
I probably spend about an hour a day on each blog. This includes promoting, future-posting, doing research, and formatting things perfectly (I’m a bit type-A about that).
