Small Footprints

blogabout
Reduce Footprints is about easy ways for each of us to reduce our footprint on the earth. Not everyone can buy a hybrid car or build an Eco-friendly house. For those that can, great! For the rest of us, however, there are plenty of things we can do to protect the earth. If we all did something … we could change the world.

blogliving
My family operates a freelance AutoCAD drafting service. We operate through the Internet, with clients all over the US. Since no face to face meetings are required and electronic versions of drawings, contracts, etc. are used, our business is very earth friendly.

whystartblog
My friends and family kept telling me to start a blog and write. One day I was talking to a neighbor about our apartment manager’s plan to begin charging residents for their water usage. That got everyone talking about how to conserve. Very quickly the same ideas came up … and I kept thinking that there has to be more we can do. So … Reduce Footprints was born. It turns out … there’s a lot more we can do.

No … my blog doesn’t make a cent. I’ve considered changing that but for now I’m more interested in getting the “green” message out.

At least three times a week I offer tips for living a greener life. These tips are easy to accomplish and are often things that we don’t even think about.

Occasionally we have guest authors who offer unique “takes” on everything “green”.
