I am a cooking instructor, a food writer and food photographer in Florida. I specialize in Modern Asian foods - fast, fresh and simple enough for tonight’s supper.

This is my job! I have 2 print food columns in newspapers; run www.steamykitchen.com/blog - one of the top trafficked food blogs out there; and I teach cooking classes at local cooking schools.

I started in February as a way to document my recipes. I quickly found out that I had a knack for food photography - making food look droolworthy delicious through the screen!

Yes. Blogher ads. I just started about a month ago and am making quite a bit of money! Easy to manage (actually, there is no management…I just up the code and wait for a ck)

People who love to eat, cook, and drool over photos of food.

30 minutes on my own site (writing and responding to comments), but I spend about an hour perusing other blogs a day. It’s addictive!

The blog isn’t just about recipes - I’m chronicling my adventures in cooking live on television- inviting blogger participation and I tell hilarious stories with each recipe. The photography alone will make you hungry. Since I teach cooking for a living, you can be assured that my recipes are tested and that they work. I’m not some boring blogger who dishes out recipes that suck.

Network! It’s not just about hanging a sign on your front page, hoping that people find you. Go out and comment on other blogs, make blog-friends and find a little community that you can be a part of.
The world is not that scary of a place - don’t be shy!
