The Birdhouse-Julie Bird

This blog is an outlet of the comings and goings in my life as a mom with 5 grown children and a real estate agent. Life is never dull and I love sharing it.
It is also an outlet for my sometimes offbeat sense of humor and my occasional pet peeve. It is theraputic for me and hopefully informative and intersting for others.

I am a real estate agent. I will usually feature a listing on the blog to give it more exposure.

I started blogging about two years ago as a creative outlet. I love to write and think a lot of off beat things are funny. I also like to post my beautiful family and the funny and great things they do.

For about two years. I try to post daily, but in the winter it is usually three to four times a week.

Anywhere from 60 to 70 hits per day.

I tried google ads on the blog, but honestly, I don’t think I was using them right. I would love to be able to use them correctly and generate an income. I think it would motivate me to be even more creative in my blogging.

I think a family person like myself, males and females who are in the midst of all of life’s busy activities like me. I also have young women in their twenties who read it. Not as many older people read it because they are less confident with computers. The only time my step mother can read my blog is when I send her the direct link. She doesn’t know how to go to it everyday and read.

I would say about 45 minutes, by the time I upload pictures. Sometimes a post will just pop into my mind and I can have it posted in 15 minutes.

Because it is witty, informative and it gives insight into a family’s successes and struggles. I think in reading my blog, a person knows that they are not alone in the way they look at the world.

Be creative! And don’t be afraid to make fun of yourself. Share ups and downs and opinions. And try to come up with witty post titles that will entice readers.
