Rising Upward- Rose M. Garland

blogabout
Rising Upward is primarily advice – uncommon advice that may be spiritual, mental or emotionally focused.

blogliving
My blog is a hobby that I’d like to turn into a money-making job some day. My work background has always really been in one of two categories – either marketing or nonprofits. In some cases I’ve combined the two. Right now I’m between jobs, but am enjoying doing more freelance writing.

whystartblog
I’ve been through all kinds of crazy things, and it’s very rare that someone else’s story will actually shock me. It occurred to me that I could use my personal experiences to help other people. The best reward in the world is having people write to tell me that my blog helped them, and one of the biggest compliments I’ve recently received was “I love reading everything you write, because I know that I’m always going to learn something new about life from you.”

howlongblog
Turning bad experiences into something good and helpful for someone else takes years of self-discovery. I’ve been writing this blog, pretty much daily, since October of last year. I’m planning on writing 365 completely different and interesting posts this year!

howmany
The current average is 72.

income
My blog has an almost non-existent income. I may make .24 cents this month on ad clicks. I’d really like to team up with a big name self-help guru to get more advertising, but I think that most people in the self-help industry are struggling to make a good income themselves.

interestedblog
People interested in self-discovery would find this blog the most useful! Rising Upward is from the viewpoint of a graduate of the school of hard knocks. If you don’t have any problems in life, if you’ve never felt defeated, and you have never had any emotional issues to speak of – you’re not going to get much out of my blog.

howlongday
Every day I wake up, start coffee, feed our three cats and then start writing my blog. It probably takes anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes to write a post.

whysubscribeblog
You should read my blog because the advice I give is both practical and original. My advice to perfectionists – sew a shirt. My advice to a lady who is afraid of offending someone – do it anyway. My perspective is unique, and many people seem fascinated with my life stories. Either my blog will help you, or it will make you feel better about yourself – and either seems like a pretty terrific outcome!

whatadvicebloggers
Since each person’s blog is so different and so unique, I don’t have any advice on how or what to write. The advice I would give other bloggers however is to put a right-click lock on your blogs so no one can copy your blogs, re-write them slightly and then sell them for money. Protect your investments of time, passion, ideas and energy, and always try to give a leg up to someone else if it’s at all possible.
