The blog has been successful in that it has been read far more widely than I would have expected.
Anyone who is fed up to the back teeth of earnest finger-wagging about how to bring up their children, or how to be a ‘better parent’.
Anyone who likes to drink wine but hates the pretentiousness of other wine appreciation sites.
A couple of hours – far more if I am being ‘sociable’ and visiting other people’s blogs. There’s so much great stuff out there, you could be reading blogs 24 hours a day.
You might find something refreshing in contrast to the barrage of guilt-inducing literature about being a parent.
You might be tempted to try a wine that has been reviewed (all are under £10 and from supermarkets or national chains).
Be prepared to devote far more time to blogging than you thought you would be prepared to devote.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

I agree on the simplicity if you want people today to register and continue to be around. Especially if the website is new and unpopular you need to keep as many users as you can, do not drive them away with complicated register forms.

One other thing is that many digital cameras are available equipped with any zoom lens that enables more or less of that scene to become included by simply ‘zooming’ in and out. All these changes in focusing length will be reflected while in the viewfinder and on big display screen on the back of the specific camera.
