Save The World or Else.org is a way to stay up to date on the latest issues, current campaigns and petitions from world renoun organizations. My blog also is running two campaigns of its own, Operation Iraqi Children2 and Free Africa From Malaria. Its a blog written by an environmentalist in an attempt to get information out there in an attractive way.

This is, so far, only just a passion of mine. I do have a ‘real’ job as an events corrdinator at a banquet hall.

I began Save The World or Else when I read about Operation Iraqi Children, a non-profit that sends backpacks full of school supplies donated to them to the children in Iraq. Operation Iraqi Children was having a difficult time receiving donations due to the fact that they require so much material from each donator. So I created SaveTheWorldorElse.org, the name inspired by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s April ‘07 Newsweek Cover, that allows individuals to donate one or two school supply items. Then I collectively send the backpacks to OIC. Since April, I have also added Free Africa From Malaria NOW Campaign were viewers to my site can also send a bed-net to an African family to prevent them from catching the widespread malaria disease. Feeling like I could still do more, I turned my web site into a blog so that I could be free to post information, petitions or write about other organizations trying to make a difference.

I have been blogging for a little over a week now. A long time, I know.

So far, on average, I have 5 subscribers per day. But I do have over 500 friends on MySpace who asked me to befriend them. And I acquired this much before I became a blog.

My blog does not have an income. Not yet at least.

I spend anywhere from 3 hours to about 5 hours blogging. I do not blog on the weekends, or I haven’t been able to figure out how to. Because I do need to make a living.

Gov. Schwarzenegger said that environmentalists need to relay their info in a more attractive way in order to get the general public more aware of the issues. This is my attempt at that challenge.

Keep on.. Keeping on.
