Tumbled Words is a window into my thoughts, opinions, dreams, and emotions. The days the curtains are pulled wide, I will evoke emotions in you and cause you to think. And, who knows where thinking will lead you.

I am retired and blogging is a hobby. I would love to make it a living, but I get lost in my own words.

I write to evoke emotions in people. If people don’t feel, they don’t exist, yet every day many of us choke back our feelings and just go through the the motions, hoping for a better day next year. If my words can trigger a feeling or a memory that leads to empathy of other people, then the door has been opened to understanding.

Tumbled Words began November 15, 2006, not even a year ago. I love to change it up, try something new, so in some respects, I have been “working on this blog” every day since.

With no disrespect meant, enough to make me keep blogging, but not near as many as I dream about, which translates to not many. I have not tracked it since I went to Wordpress.org.

I put Adsense on the old version and a referral or two. Not successful. I have not yet added anything since moving to my own domain.

Readers come to my personal blog to feel, to get glimpses into another human being’s thoughts and the relationship between a couple married for 33 years and counting.

I write the average post rather quickly, but also respond to each comment I receive on my blog. I then spend hour upon hour reading other blogs and commenting.

You should subscribe to my blog because it is a quick way to read my words, and once you’ve read them, you may just find out you look forward to them and the places within yourself they lead you.

If you wish to succeed as a personal blogger, be yourself, whoever that is. Write what your heart tells you to write…

and proof it before pushing that post button. I fall into that trap of too excited to proof well some days.
