My blog is the written description of what I see under the giant magnifying glass I use to view the world. I once heard that if you ask “Why?” five times in a row when someone is talking to you, the fifth one will get you the absolute truth. So, when things are happening around me, I ask “Why?” five times and then I blog what I find. Annnnnnnd… then other times I just want crack a few jokes and try to be witty.
For example, two bloggers are sitting at a bar and an accountant walks in and says, “Is this your mouse…” Okay, well that’s NOT a good example…

I work with finances for a living. Blogging is just one of my hobbies – others including writing, drawing, coin collecting and painting.

I think I just wanted to gripe about the stupidity and corruption I saw in the world at first. I wasn’t trying to be noble or anything, I just wanted to share my two cents with anybody that wanted to read. I really didn’t think I’d do it more than a few months and here it is two years and I’m humbled by the great people that visit my site.

I think it will be two years, this October.

I’d say between 60 and 100 on most days. It’s very humbling!!!

I’ve been told I should do something that would earn money, but that feels kinda’ creepy to me. This whole blog thing to me is just so much fun that if I earned money doing it, I’d feel like I was tainting it.

I think that anybody with a fairly open mind would enjoy my blog. They wouldn’t have to agree with me, but I think if they’re willing to accept an opinion for what it is – they’d like by site.

Maybe not per day – but I’d say 2 or 3 hours per week. I wish I had more time to blog but I have a lot of things going on.

I believe that my perspective is fairly deep and honest. I accept very little of what I see and I try to blog what I find just beneath the surface. I like to say what I think most people don’t want to admit. Plus I’m a nice guy!

WRITE FOR YOURSELF! This is what I have to remind myself of every time I log in. With counters and all kinds of links that track your readership – its easy to start worrying about who you might offend, or who might not think you’re funny, or who might not like you. Just write to please yourself and regardless of who reads or won’t read your blog, in the end you’ll still produce quality posts.
