logical motion

blogabout
LOGICal eMOTIONs is a blog that believes in parallax. There are many things in life that we believe to be true, or simply accept as true without ever taking the time to think about it in a different context. LE helps people understand more about that which they thought to be true so that better choices can be made throughout life. Some call it philosophy, others have called it entertaining – heck, it could be either of those things, all of those things, or none at all.

blogliving
To pay the bills I help small businesses increase their retail sales through establishing their own ecommerce websites. My unique ability is being able to disassemble complex ideas, concepts, processes, plans, etc., and reassemble them in a more logical and efficient way. The blog is really a ‘written’ application of that ability to everyday ideas and truths.

whystartblog
I originally started blogging to keep myself in the practice of writing. I have a book that I have been working on now for coming up two years. I was starting to slow down in writing and needed an escape from the book, yet a place to keep writing and work out new ideas with other people. I get to hone my craft, yet get feedback from others that forces me to improve my writing and presentation.

howlongblog
The blog has been up for just over 320 days. A bit of a wandering path in the early days, however, it’s getting more defined as time marches on.

howmany
The blog receives about 60 solid visits each day. I may not have many visitors, however, the numbers have been increasing each month, and my visitors are loyal. I do not post every day and much of the content leaves people thinking rather than re-posting my content on their own blog.

income
No, my blog does not have an income and likely never will. My philosophy is that if I am purely giving, then why should I partner with a company who is not? I believe in using blogs to find opportunity, however, I don’t believe that a blog IS the opportunity.

interestedblog
Anyone who likes different perspectives and a complete presentation of argument should like this blog. There are no massive link-lists, no celebrity gossip, and most posts will require about 10 minutes of your time. Now, thankfully there are not daily posts so it is one that can be visited less frequently when you have more time to read and think.

howlongday
To take an average across the week, I spend about 1h each day. It generally takes me a couple hours to write a post to my satisfaction, and the rest of the time is spent working out the concept and the best way to present it.

whysubscribeblog
The best reason to subscribe to LOGICal eMOTIONs is that you will never see an iPhone review, or whatever else happens to be the current rage. Because there are not daily posts, subscription is the best way to keep up to date. The posts aren’t daily, yet when there is one, you will enjoy it.

whatadvicebloggers
Define your success. LE is not in the top 10,000 of Technorati, there are less than 100 RSS subscribers, and it is not an ‘A-List’ blog by anymeans. HOWEVER, the fact that more than myself find it useful is a huge part of it’s targeted success. To be successful at anything, you have to add value. If you don’t add value and there is no personality to the blog, then success may be out of reach.
