My blog is a culmination of thoughts and opinions on current affairs and/or social issues as I view or question them. My posts are based on experience or how I feel on a particular subject matter. I do not limit or censor my thoughts for fear of being rejected. I do not post to solicit attention as I’m not an attention seeker nor to be en vogue. I welcome dialog; I challenge social mores; and I want to open minds and enrich my own. There have been topics on sex, abuse, God; no subject is off-limits. I am a women with a voice and am not afraid to use it.
I work in the aviation industry full-time; though I have plans to publish poems and short stories in the near future. Blogging was a medium which afforded me an opportunity to write in a different capacity and not limit my writing abilities.
I read message boards that covered a myriad of topics and found myself commenting on them; or thinking “is it just me?” which led me to blogging on this topic.
Since January of 2006.
On average 10-15 depending on the posted topic.
I do not gather an income from blogging.
Anyone who has an interest in social issues as it’s not limited to any one subject matter.
About an hour on my own.
Because it’s informative, witty, inspirational, and not limited. A reader is not subjected to the same subject matter each time they view the blog. In addition, the many topics covered provides a good variety of material for the reader.
Be yourself and do it because it’s something that means something to you and not for the amount of comments generated.
