The title Salvageable comes from a friend of mine who has been a prostitute, addict and neglectful parent. But she loves her family and friends and begs me not to give up her. “All of us are salvageable,” she reminded me two years ago. I hadn’t thought about that word before then, but now I consider it part of the Gospel. I write about what’s left when life can seem too much. And a lot of what’s left is very funny. Read more »
