What’s a homepage? I’m a computer dinasour. Sorry about that. My daughter set this whole thing up for me. I just write the entries. I don’t even know how to put in pictures. The few that are there were put in by her.

My blog is a journal of sorts. It doesn’t include really personal or sacred things but I do talk about my nine children (makes for long entries sometimes) and tips on parenting after having done it for 42 YEARS.

I talk about random things like my frustration with computers (I don’t know much about how to work them) religion, faith, spiritual things, political subjects,(like TRILLION DOLLAR bailouts and how the freemarket economy would have gotten us through.)funny things that have happened, advice to my kids (yeah, that’s a funny thing) holiday traditions, a fantastic diet where the pounds literally melt off, etc.

I am a stay at home grandmother (but I don’t stay at home much) I have had a few odd jobs over the last 15 years or so but nothing worth mentioning.

This blog is just something I do to stay in touch with my daughters and daughters-in-law and keep up with what’s going on in their lives.

What topic? None intended. Again just random thoughts on being a grandmother, mother, wife, human being and sentiant entity on the planet.

No. I didn’t know you could make money writing a blog. Hey!!! Am I missing something? I alway did want to be a writer! (actually, I didn’t but maybe I’d take it up if money is involved)

Only live people. The rest would find it boring. (a little hubris there) Also those interested in politics, religion, family, advice to the clueless (takes one to know one, they say:) holiday traditions, everyday happenings in a really large family, etc.

up to several times a week except for the last month when I’ve been in the howpital THREE times (figure the hospital bill on that. It could pay the hospital’s light bill for a year…. Well maybe not that much, but close.)

Because I’m brilliant? I only recently subscribed to “Nie Nie.” Her’s is fascinating (sp?) (My spelling skills get worse every year and I’m only 62 years old. Think how bad it’ll be when I’m eighty!) But did she say why she started?

I don’t really know why unless you want to see what it’s like to be 62, married for 43 years, have nine children, and still be sane.

Pray about it a great deal. Seriously, just write from the heart about your daily life

I blog about anything. It can be a bad day in the office. A really nice time I had with friends. A really wonderful ride that I took on my Royal Enfield. But you can be sure that my blog won’t bore you with sappy stuff.

This is just a hobby. And I make sure that I at least post one post per month. I know that this is a lot less but there were times when I used to post multiple posts in a day. I rarely am able to find the time these days but I make sure that I make the connect with people who end up on my blog – reply to comments, visit their blogs and thank them.

Well, as I mentioned, I do not blog about any one topic particularly. I blog about anything. Maybe I don’t really want to be stuck in a bloody rut. No chance for other people to point me out and say – there is the blogger who writes about technology only. Or music only. Damn, I can write about anything!

I have been blogging from December 2004. Wow, thats like close to 6 years now. Yeah, December is 6 months away.

I get around 40 visits per day. And I am really happy with this number of visitors since they actually spend more time on my blog.

I did get some income on my blog. I used to write commercial posts about products. It did work great until someone pulled the plug on blogs from outside the USA!. It was good while it lasted. But once this was over, I realised that this blog has to be non-commercial. People have to be able to connect to it – not conned into it!

The regular guy or gal. The person who loves to ride a motorcycle, life and culture in India. The person who liked photography

Around 30 minutes. And much more in reading other people’s blogs. Really! I have more than 300 feeds on my Google Reader.
