The PS22 Chorus blog showcases the accomplishments and talents of the fifth graders involved in the group, which is comprised of about 70 New York City public school children. They’ve sung for and with the amazing singers Judy Torres, Lena, and the legendary Tori Amos! After hearing them perform, Academy Award-winner Marcia Gay Harden invited them to sing at her home for her Christmas party. A video featuring the chorus is presently being exhibited at WTC Tribute, The World Trade Center Museum. The chorus has gotten over half a million hits on the videos posted on the blog.
