Superleague Formula is a new concept in sport that builds upon the fan bases of both football and motor racing to produce a unique experience.

Our blog is a place for us to keep everyone up to date with what we’re doing… and for the fans to get involved and to tell us what they think.

I’m part of the team that’s going to be launching the sport but I’m also a believer in what ‘the beautiful race’ could become… Believe me, I wouldn’t be doing this otherwise!

At present, citizen media has no sport of our own… until now!

This blog is Superleague Formula’s opening opportunity to build a public hub that connects to (and creates) a community of, fans by making everything easily accessible and engaging, and with no exclusivity of media access - only exclusivity of editorial content.

At this time, the sport is new – really new. We launched the concept to the world in April, so we’re now into our third month.

It depends on what news we have to tell. The best day ever saw 19,000 visitors but at this early stage, we’re welcoming around 1-2,000 visitors a day which is fantastic.

The thing with Superleague Formula is that it obviously has a pull for football fans and motor racing nuts (who are both for and against, by the way).

However, it’s also an exciting concept for anyone who’s interested in watching the birth and growth of a brand new sport.

Usually an hour or two…

Because we’re launching a new sport that will unite the world’s best football clubs and see them race against each other on the track!
