Almost everyone that earnsan income on the internet (even the millionaires) do so through affiliate marketing. Being successful in affiliate marketing involves knowing the formula that makes other affiliate marketers successful. For instance, autoblogging. Autoblogging is one of the least well-known forms of making money online for quite some time... basically because it's quite difficult to make a good auto-blog. Yet, when done right, it can provide you with a perpetual passive income with the only real work required being the setting up process. Video Marketing, and several other marketing strategies are all designed to drive traffic to your site, can be incorporated organicly in order to raise the position your site appears in the SERPs when any one searches for a term related to your site. And yet, even this can be totally automated.

Thanks for the explaination Mike. I more than understand its a new site, and things need to be worked out. Just think its a great place to get some constructive criticism, and improve ones blog. Its August 1, and will wait to see the voting rules.

Seems like this blog no longer has any votes. Does it reset at some point? Perhaps if you recieve too many negative votes, it goes back to zero?

Mike,

The voting system was amended mid-month due to cheating voters. Currently positive votes add to your count, negative votes simply express an opinion and don't affect the score.

In August we will publish a clear explanation of the voting system so there will be no more confusion. Please be patient as this is our first month online.

Quick Question:

How does the Rating work? How could someone have 10 votes, and be +3? If 7 voted up, and 3 down, it should be +4. And 6 up and 4 down would be +2. Does that mean 3 out of 10 voted thumbs up?

If true, then the actual score should be -7. That would be a far more accurate and true score than just listing the positive. I think that is a bit misleading.

I am very confused about all the press releases on the blog. One even seemed of a personal nature. If its an Affiliate Marketing Blog, then most info should surround around that. Not a private detective or something like that. As will, I think the image of the monkey is a little juvenile.

Lastly, I think you contact image could be in a little less obvious place. It makes the sight seem like pure self promotion, and not a great resource of information. Of course, its good to keep your name out there, but this is a little over the top.

Just wanted to provide some constructive criticism. But keep on trying.
