These Stone Walls is a blog of candid reflections by a wrongfully convicted prisoner and Catholic priest. It is a highly unusual blog with a fast growing readership both among faithful Catholics and those interested in the plight of the falsely accused.

I am a prisoner and a Catholic priest.

Advocates and activists exploring my situation were anxious to give me a voice in the public square to witness to the truth in the face of injustice.

Six month.

It varies greatly. On “post days” we have as many as 400 visitors. On other days, it averages between 150 and 200.

This blog does not have an income.

Faithful Catholics looking for hope in the midst of crisis, and those interested in the injustice of wrongful convictions would be typical readers of These Stone Walls.

One to two hours three or four times weekly.

If you are a person who doesn’t let main stream media tell you what to think; if you are a just person open to the Catholic tradition; if loyalty and honesty and truth mean something to you, then this may be a blog of interest for you.

I have never actually seen These Stone Walls because I am a prisoner. I count on others outside of prison to be my digital eyes and ears. My advice for successful blogging is simple: write the truth. Write with candor. Write with appreciation for your freedom to write.
