The Sojourner- SojournerG

My blog is all about the search for and the presentation of truth, expressed primarily through spiritually inspired poetry and prose. As it says on the header, the search for truth is a journey, not a destination. I don’t claim to know it all, but I do desire it all and coordially invite all that are seeking to join me. Visitors might also enjoy a blog soap opera called Quid Pro Quo Love. It is an on going series tracing the intricate lives of two people seeking the truth in each other. Come join the journey. It may be that you’ll find something for which you are searching.

Ultimately, my vocation and my passion involve helping others that are less fortunate and/or disenfranchised. Truth involves meeting needs and being an obedient servant. My blog is an extension of this life mission.

A couple of years ago, I was introduced to the blog world through the poetic writings of a friend. It opned up a whole new reality. It started out as me trying my hand at writing a poem. What you can read at the site is the evolution of that thought.

This is actually my second blog. I’ve had this one since December of 2006. I’ve been blogging for about 2 1/2 years now.

The blog averages approximately 50 visitors per day.

The Truth Journey is purely for creative expression, entertainment, education and the sharing of dialogue. I’ve never sought financial remuneration for it.

Individuals that enjoy poetry, prose, fiction and topics involving spirituality will find the blog of interest.

I definitely spend more time doing it than I should. I would put my average at about 2 hours per day.

Blog readers that have become blog friends have often commented that it’s just good writing. Whether or not you subscribe to it’s contents, it may very well be that you could become interested, even captivated by something that you read. Like I would recommend concerning many things in life, hey, give it a shot. If you enjoy what you experience, come back often. If not, I appreciate you taking a look.

I suggest that if an individual would like to start a blog, just have clear reasons for doing so and have realistic expectations about whatever results you seek. Many people get discouraged when they (at first) fail to attract readers. If attracting readers is your sole goal, then it’s going to take effort. Visit the blogs of others, be social, show interest and you’ll be surprised at how many returns of the favor you’ll receive. We’re quite social in the blogosphere and often quite supportive of one another, whatever your goals may be.
