My blog is the main conduit between my thoughts and the world. It includes creative writing, commentaries, rants, whatever captivates me at the moment.

Blogging is a hobby. I am retired from teaching, social work, active single-motherhood, and many other jobs.

I love to write, and wanted to exchange ideas with people other than friends and family.

I began it in mid-June 2006.

I have no idea. I don’t have a site meter, so it is possible for visitors to read and run without leaving a comment.

No income. I don’t have ads or ask for money for any reason.

My most frequent commenters are those who have similar hopes and expectations of the blogging community.

It varies. I’m doing it less than I used to, about an hour a day, usually, but that may change.

I write well and I have ideas. I have many interests, and am scrupulous about answering all comments to my blog. I believe in treating others with respect, and welcome opposing views.

Read other blogs. Offer comments when you can do so sincerely, but don’t comment just so someone will link to you.
There is a huge and varied community out there. If you return often to the blogs you find most interesting, you will find your niche and in turn, others will find you.

Heart is thoughtful, funny, provocative.
I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me! (sorry)
You must check this one out!
Hearts writes very readable writing and that makes it on the more enjoyable side to read. she is not trying to sway anyone to an opinion but she tells you what she is thinking at the time her fingers are dancing n the keyboard and that is usually enough to give you at the very least a grin.
Peace
I enjoy “Heart’s” creative prose and forays into all sorts of interesting fields. She’s a thoughtful blogger who works hard to make her blog fun to read.
Hearts in San Francisco is one of the best blogs in the blogosphere. She almost has an Erma Bombeck feeling. I never fail to laugh out loud at her wonderful posts. She’s thoughtful, funny, and has a wonderful sense of irony.
When Heart says she is a good writer, she is not boasting or being immodest; she is stating, as she always does, the facts.
Her blog is rare in its consistent quality and thoughtfulness.
I am always fascinated by this blog — in every way, shape or form. Her posts never fail to entertain, teach, amaze, enthrall. Her experiences — past and present — are almost beyond non-fiction and yet the passion, clarity and creativity in which she writes pulls you along. This blog is a marvel.
It gives you lessons about life. Sometimes you feel like taking out some popcorn and pretend you’re “reading” a good film, other times it’s so thought-provoking that you get a brain freeze.
Definitely worth not only reading, but enjoying and remembering. It has become a reference for me in any case.
Lots of nice things said about this blog. I think I may have to subscribe to it.
Heart in San Francisco writes the best blog I read. Her quality is second to none, and she addresses topics that are not easy to deal with. She has dealt with the humorous to the nasty in society. I do subscribe to her blog, and I don’t miss reading it.
Hearts is fabulous and a beautiful writer. Blog is witty, thought provoking, and just plain fun.
This is one of the best blogs out there. It makes you laugh, it makes you think and it makes you want to come back for more.
Hearts is one of the best. I particularly love when she makes fun of her neighbors. Her post about Mohamed Ali was one of my faves too. Oh and she met Che, now give her the damn money.
Heart is the writer of the most fascinating blog stories I have been privileged to read. She literally is all heart. An amazing woman and engaging writer, she keeps me reading. She’s funny too!
Hearts is a good enough writer to relay to her readers that she is thoughtful, intelligent, funny and beautiful in so many ways. An amazing woman who leads an amazing life.
