My views, thoughts, opinions, experiences, achievements as a blogger and as a Filipino.

I’m an I.T. marketing consultant and Japanese-language instructor based in Davao City, Philippines. Someday soon, I guess I’d also like to be able to say that I’m a problogger.

It was probably divine foresight on the part of my folks to have nicknamed me “Blogie” even when I was still in diapers. Now I’m a web warrior trying to live up to his name!

I don’t have a very specific topic for this blog, because this is like my homebase, meaning I pretty much talk about what I like there. For other more focused topics I have other blogs.

I’ve been working on “Blogie Blog” in earnest since January 2007. I took up blogging in 2005, but it was a very, very slow start for me. You could say I’ve been working on this blog for 8 months now.

This blog gets about 33 unique visitors per day. Not a lot yet… and that’s why I’m trying to promote it as best as I can.

Through Adsense and ReviewMe, I get a few extra $$$ on this blog. ReviewMe works well for me compared to Adsense, but I don’t really like having too many paid posts on my home blog. It’s also part of TLA now, but I haven’t sold any links off it yet.

I wouldn’t really call it an income yet. But maybe in another 6 months, I just might!

Based on feedback, I guess people who blog would be interested in my blog. That’s probably because I talk about good writing tips there. My largest groups of readers are Filipinos, and those who love the Philippines.

All in all I spend about 2-3 hours per day on my various blogs. I actually have 7, but “Blogie Blog” is the mother ship, so to speak.

If you’d like to know more about blogging beyond PR, Alexa ranking, Technorati, etc., but would like to read more on how to develop quality content, this could be the blog for you!
