Views From A Small Town is a blog dedicated to my quest to become a better photographer. I am attempting to take at least one good photo a day, but I guarantee that I will be posting photos at least five times a week. Sometimes there will only be one photo a day and other times there will be multiple shots that I want to share with you. Please feel free to stop by anytime and comment about any and all photos.
I’m a high school English teacher by day and an amateur photographer by night. I love to take photos and spend part of my time everyday towards becoming a better photographer.
I wanted to start working on my photography skills and techniques. At first I thought I would post those pics on my everyday blog, but then decided a photoblog was the way to go. I love being able to go back and look at the pictures I have taken and see progression towards becoming a better photographer.

I usually get over 10 visitors a day. I have 10 official “followers” as well as others that regularly stop by. I would love to have you stop by as well.
Currently I have decided to not use my photoblog in that way. I am working towards becoming better at this craft and hope to one day feel good enough about my work to offer some of it for sale to the public.
I believe that anyone who has an interest in photography or just likes to look at photos would be interested in my blog. In Views From A Small Town, I usually focus on outdoor photography…especially of the small town and country where I live.
I usually spend anywhere from one to two hours a day. Sometimes more if the inspiration hits me!
I post a new picture to my blog everyday. Maybe one of these photos will interest you and make you smile, or maybe it will remind you of home.
I like to visit other blogs and leave comments. I find that if I comment on another blog, those people often come check out my blog! I know that I do the same for those who stop by my blogs.
I also use Twitter and will send out links to my new posts. This will also bring in traffic.
