A meditation on my dog, Pappy, and dogs in general.

The blog is a hobby. I work in IT support.

As a tribute to the gloriousness and unconventional good looks of my dog. He sort of displaced all my other hobbies.

I started posting regularly in May, 2006. I had been fiddling with his web site since we got him in February.

About 40 to 80, depending how regularly I am updating. Not sure about RSS subscriptions.

Pet owners, creative types, and people studying OCD.

Varies widely, but my wife would agree that it is always too much. Maybe an hour.

Honestly, postings are light-hearted, short, creative, and pay homage to the lunacy of pet owners. Plus Pappy is awfully dashing.

Seriously, the best guidance is to network in your niche. Find the directories and forums, participate in other peoples’ blogs. I don’t do nearly enough of this.
