What is your blog about?
Politics, marketing, pr, government, Web 2.0, humor, Africa, Durban, 2010 World Cup and other bits and pieces that I find interesting.
What do you do for a living?
I’m a writer/ journalist. So putting words on paper (or screen) is my job, my passion and my hobby. This blog goes with the protocol website.
How many visitors does your blog get per day?
That depends on how often I post - if I post regularly and my Amatomu ranking climbs and I get into the listings it goes up but it is usually about 40.
What kind of person would be interested in this kind of blog?
Of course I think any curious person will enjoy it. People who are interests in news, current affairs, web-things, marketing and pr - I would hope most people in business today. Doesn’t everyone want to be an informed, well- rounded person?
How much time do you spend blogging per day?
I’m not a blogger as in the type who bares my heart and bleeds my deepest feelings and philosophies all over the sphere.
I’m more of a facilitator. Sometimes I write original material, but hell, I’m a writer, I don’t need a blog to sustain my writing ego - I just want to share a bit of information.
Tell us why we should subscribe to your blog.
You’ll never be bored! You’ll always find something interesting, shocking, amazing, heart-warming, amusing or just plain, “wtf?” on my blog.
What advice do you have for other bloggers trying to succeed?
Like anything else in life it is just a matter of discipline and hard work. I watch my ratings slip when I’m slack. If you want to succeed, you must work at it. (If anyone has an easier way please email me.)
